At the start of the Pal. Auth. postal operation , there were NO attempts to record and prepareCovers commemorating the FIRST DAY of opening of the post offices.
Not by the Pal. Auth. postal authorities nor by private collectors or dealers .
The only example I succeeded to locate was prepared by unknown body/person
at the occaision of opening the “Rafa Terminal” post office
